After obtaining his undergraduate degree in chemistry, Dr. Tim Gehring earned his D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota. He completed a one-year general practice residency with the U.S. Army. His continuing education includes Pankey Institute Continuums 1-6 in Key Biscayne, Florida, Esthetic Continuums I-2 at the University of Minnesota and an Implant Maxicourse at the Medical College of Georgia.

In practice for 20 years, Dr. Gehring stays abreast of the latest technological advances in dentistry with memberships in the TriCounty Study Club, West Central District of the Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry, where he achieved Fellow status. Dr. Gehring also lectures on aesthetic and implant dentistry to groups of peers and colleagues.

Dr. Gehring and his wife, Vicky, have two children, Shawnna and Ben. In his spare time, he enjoys auctions and outdoor activities. He also volunteers with Jaycees as a host for the Jingle Bells Telethon and is a member of the Task Force for Dental Access.
