Dr. Art Hermes attended the University of North Dakota for his undergraduate studies before attending the University of Minnesota for his doctorate in dentistry. He has since completed studies in reconstructive dentistry at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and cosmetic and implant dentistry at the University of Minnesota. He has been in practice for 30 years.

Dr. Hermes is an active member of the Minnesota Dental Association, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Hermes is married with five adult children and five grandchildren. In his leisure time he enjoys scuba diving, bicycling, motorcycling, fishing, hunting and traveling.
